Ukrainian forces strike UAV launch site and Russian military depots
On 26 September and overnight into 27 September 2026, Ukrainian forces struck Russian military facilities in the occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. The targets included a storage, preparation and launch site for attack UAVs, two ammunition depots, a logistics depot and a fuel and lubricants depot.
Attack UAV storage and launch site in Donetsk
Ukrainian forces struck a facility in Donetsk used by Russian troops to store, prepare and launch attack drones. Destroying such infrastructure reduces the Russian military’s ability to deploy attack UAVs against Ukrainian military and civilian targets.
Ammunition depots in Luhansk Oblast
Ukrainian forces struck two Russian ammunition depots in Krepenske and Luhansk. The extent of the damage and any secondary detonations has not been detailed.
Russian military supply depots
A logistics depot was struck in Rovenky, Luhansk Oblast. Another strike hit a fuel and lubricants depot in Novoamvrosiivske, Donetsk Oblast.
These facilities supplied Russian units with ammunition, fuel and other resources required for combat operations in occupied Ukrainian territory.
Summary for 27 September
All five facilities were struck on 26 September and overnight into 27 September. Ukraine’s General Staff did not specify the individual strike date for each target.
These facilities are not added to the main Demilitarizator statistics: the current methodology excludes ammunition depots, routine supply depots and insufficiently identified operational sites.
No new sites were added for 27 September. Including revisions for 24 and 26 September, at least 834 strikes are recorded in 2026, including at least 47 in September.
