Drone strikes hit two oil depots in Russia’s Krasnodar region
Two oil depots in Russia’s Krasnodar region were attacked by drones overnight on 28 September 2026. Fires were recorded at the Edelweiss-95 oil depot in Novotitarovskaya and at the Pavlovskaya oil depot. Ukraine’s General Staff also reported strikes on several Russian military facilities in Russia and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Edelweiss-95 oil depot
A major fire broke out at the Edelweiss-95 oil depot following several explosions. The location of the strike was identified through publicly available photographs and videos.
The company supplies diesel fuel and petrol, purchases petroleum products directly from major Russian refineries and operates its own railway infrastructure for receiving and dispatching fuel. The depot has a total storage capacity of approximately 4,500 cubic metres.
Pavlovskaya oil depot
The Pavlovskaya oil depot, operated by NFB-Pavlovskaya, was also attacked during the night. A separate fire was recorded at the facility.
The depot is used for the storage and wholesale distribution of motor fuel. DeepStrike records Edelweiss-95 and the Pavlovskaya oil depot as two separate strikes on Russia’s fuel infrastructure.
Other military facilities
Ukraine’s General Staff reported strikes on a Pantsir-S2 air-defence system near Seltso in Russia’s Bryansk region, as well as drone command and launch sites, a repair unit, ammunition depots and military logistics facilities in the temporarily occupied territories.
These operational and insufficiently identified military sites are not included in DeepStrike’s main statistics.
Summary for 28 September
