What the General Staff reported for 30 September and overnight into 1 October
Ukraine’s General Staff reported a hit on a strike-drone storage, preparation and launch site near Donetsk. It also named a drone command post near Pokrovsk, a missile and artillery weapons depot near Verkhniokamianka in Luhansk Oblast, and a concentration of weapons and equipment near Tymoshivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
The General Staff gave these strikes a shared timeframe of 30 September and overnight into 1 October, without assigning a separate date to each target. The same statement confirmed the destruction of Rubikon drone depots near Volnovakha, but that strike took place on 23 September and is not a new October event.
Explosions near the Krasnozavodsk chemical plant
On 1 October, reports and footage showed smoke after explosions in Krasnozavodsk, Moscow Oblast. The town is home to the Krasnozavodsk chemical plant, a Russian defence-industry enterprise involved in munitions production. Its output includes munitions and explosive materials, including components for drones.
